About Us

National Paramedic Institute was founded in July 2002 with the goal of providing the most cutting-edge EMS education to our country's EMS professionals.

Medic Monthly is our case-based continuing education series for First Responders, EMTs, and Paramedics. All Medic Monthly installments are CECBEMS approved for continuing education and meet National Registry requirements. Each installment includes a pretest, 20-minute video, post-test explanation and review, and a quiz. Each episode of the Medic Monthly is case-based and addresses a challenging, confusing, or unusual EMS issue.

Each episode of Medic Monthly involves a case re-enactment with testimonials from real firefighters, real paramedics, real EMTs, and real emergency physicians. We pride ourselves on presenting the most updated facts on an issue without sanitizing it. Our goal at National Paramedic Institute is simple – the best possible education for EMS providers with second-to-none customer service.

We are very proud to be partnered with the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) and making available on our learning management system the IAFF Virtual Academy to all of our IAFF fire fighter students.
